Why Praying With The Book Of Psalms.

WHY PRAYING WITH THE BOOK OF PSALMS.
"Put God first and everything will follow."  The next thing God does for you and your family will be big and mind blowing

It was on Sunday, 20th of October, 2019, our Church Pastor told all the congregation to stand up with our Bible. As a pastoral leader, we obliged to the man of God who later told us to open to Psalm 23. We all read from this Book of Psalm and next we enter into prayer session. 

  After we have finished praying, I then ask myself, why praying using the Book of Psalms. I did not stop at this, I pick my set and head on to http://www.google.com to search for "Why praying with Psalms?". What I found was not only a spiritual reasons but needful. I quote one of my search results saying, "You will pray more biblical- faithful prayers. The Bible through the psalms will guide your prayers, helping you to speak to God with words that have come from the mind and heart of God". This also  means you will be praying more in accordance with the will of God.

Dear brethren, from praising to thanksgiving to divine mercy and abundance grace, all you need can be found in the the Book of Psalm. One of the Psalm that I believe you should be reading everyday aside from Psalm 91 which is prayer for protection another important  psalm is Psalm  70. It is a prayer for Help.

                                       SAMPLE PRAYER.

"Save me, O God! Lord help me now!  May those who try to kill me(mention your name) be defeated and confused. May those who are happy because of my troubles be turned back and disgraced. May those who jeer at me be dismayed by their defeat. May all who come to you be glad and joyful. May all who are thankful for your salvation always say HOW GREAT IS GOD. I am weak and poor, come to me quickly, O God. You are my savior O Lord- hurry to my aid.". Amen. the above is a prayer for Help.

Praying with Psalms make your prayer  more  stronger and powerful. Hear what Psalm 30: 6-12 says,
"When I felt secure, I said I will never be shaken. Lord, when you favored me, you made my royal mountain stand firm". Power in the prayer of Psalms win all battles. the psalmist said, Lord I have come to you for protection, never let me be defeated.

e journey mercy.

4. Prayer and Psalm to pray if people owe you a lot of Money: Oh Lord bless those that owe me and let them pay my money today in the name of Jesus.

5. Prayer and Psalm against DEBT: Oh Lord Jesus, pay up all my debt today in the name of Jesus.
